Alginate is a bio-polymer extracted from brown marine algae (Laminaria digitata, Laminaria hyperborea, Ascophytium nodosum, Fucus serratus) which grows along the rocky coasts of the northern seas. Although the properties of these algae have been known since the days of Imperial Rome, industrial production did not begin until 1930. It softens, refreshes and moisturises the skin making it more receptive to cleansing and prevention treatments. Is a non-acid product and thus does not alter the skin’s Ph.
Project infor
1) two parts water at 23°C (room temperature) to each part powder;
2) mix for at least one minute;
3) working time: 5 minutes;
4) setting time: 10 minutes;
5) a small increase or decrease in the quantity of water as well as different water temperatures will influence working and setting time;
6) wait at least 15 minutes before rinsing off.
ALGUM MASK IN CONJUNCTION WITH ESSENTIAL OILS The effect of essential oils is enhanced when working with the mask. Essential oils improve the muscular tone and elasticity of dry, greasy or dehydrated skin. Are often used for dermatological problems such as acne or thread veins.
